Monitor your network trafic with darkstat
$ apt-get install darkstat
Open /etc/darkstat/init.cfg and change START_DARKSTAT=no to START_DARKSTAT=yes. Also change #PORT="-p 666" to PORT="-p 666" just to make sure darkstat starts on that port. It didn't start for me. You can change the port there too.
Then start darkstat,
$ /etc/init.d/darkstat
Now open darkstat in a browser,
http://localhost:666
