How to fix: `Tests in error: initializationError(FULL_CLASS_NAME).`

If you get the following error while running jUnit tests with Maven,

Tests in error:
  initializationError(FULL_CLASS_NAME).

See references for another case, but for me it was because of no tests in a test class.
